Ingredients
  

  • 1 package 3 oz Jello Gelatin (choose any flavor you like, e.g., strawberry, lime, or orange)
  • 1 cup Boiling Water
  • 1 ½ cups Heavy Cream cold
  • 1 cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 cup Milk whole or 2%
  • Optional Mix-ins candies, chopped fruit, or nuts – ½ to 1 cup, depending on preference

Instructions
 

Prepare the Jello:

  • In a bowl, dissolve the Jello gelatin in 1 cup of boiling water, stirring until fully dissolved.
    Let it cool to room temperature (about 10-15 minutes).

Whip the Cream:

  • In a separate bowl, pour the heavy cream and use an electric mixer to beat until soft peaks form.
    This means when you lift the beaters, the cream should hold its shape but gently fall over.

Combine the Ingredients:

  • Once the Jello has cooled, stir in the sweetened condensed milk and milk until fully combined.
    Then, gently fold the whipped cream into the Jello mixture using a spatula.
    Be careful to avoid deflating the whipped cream.

Add Mix-ins (Optional):

  • If you're adding mix-ins like chopped fruit or candy, fold them into the ice cream mixture.

Freeze:

  • Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container and smooth the top with a spatula.
    Cover with plastic wrap or a lid and freeze for 4-6 hours or until solid.

Serve:

  • Scoop the Jello ice cream into bowls or cones and enjoy!

  • Make it Dairy-Free: You can substitute coconut cream for heavy cream and plant-based milk for dairy milk to make this recipe dairy-free.
