  • 2 tall glasses
  • 1 measuring cup
  • 1 Ice Cream Scoop
  • 1 spoon or straw (for serving)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream or any flavor of choice
  • 1 cup milk whole milk for a creamier texture
  • 2 tbsp sugar or sweetener optional, based on taste
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract for added flavor
  • Whipped cream for topping, optional
  • Chocolate syrup sprinkles, or cherries (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  • Blend the Base – In a blender, combine the ice cream, milk, sugar (if using), and vanilla extract.
  • Blend Until Smooth – Blend on high speed for 30–45 seconds or until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
If you prefer a thicker shake, add more ice cream; for a thinner consistency, add more milk.
  • Taste & Adjust – Taste the shake and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more sugar or flavored syrups.
Blend again for a few seconds if necessary.
  • Serve Immediately – Pour the milkshake into tall glasses.
  • Garnish & Enjoy – Top with whipped cream, drizzle with chocolate syrup, and add sprinkles or a cherry on top for extra indulgence.
Serve with a straw and enjoy!

Notes

  • Customize It! Add mix-ins like crushed cookies, fresh fruits, peanut butter, or flavored syrups for a unique twist.
  • Make It Healthier: Swap regular ice cream for frozen bananas or Greek yogurt and use almond or oat milk for a dairy-free version.
  • For an Extra-Thick Shake: Use less milk or add an extra scoop of ice cream. You can also freeze the glasses beforehand to keep your shake colder for longer.
  • Boozy Twist: Add a splash of Baileys, Kahlúa, or bourbon for an adult-friendly treat!
