Instructions

Step 1 – Mix the Base Ingredients

  • In a medium-sized mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, buttermilk, and sour cream until smooth.

Step 2 – Add the Seasonings

  • Stir in the fresh dill, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
Mix well until all ingredients are fully combined.

Step 3 – Adjust the Flavor

  • Taste the dressing and adjust the seasonings as needed.
Add more dill for a stronger herby flavor or extra lemon juice for a tangier taste.

Step 4 – Chill for Best Results

  • Transfer the dressing to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
This allows the flavors to meld together for the best taste.

Step 5 – Serve and Enjoy!

  • Use your homemade dill ranch dressing as a dip for chicken tenders, fries, and veggies, or drizzle it over salads and sandwiches.

Notes

  • Storage: Keep refrigerated in an airtight container for 5–7 days. Stir before each use.
  • Thicker Ranch: Use less buttermilk or add an extra spoonful of sour cream.
  • Thinner Ranch: Add a little extra buttermilk until the desired consistency is reached.
  • Substitutions: Greek yogurt can replace sour cream for a tangier, healthier version.
