Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese grated
  • 2 tbsp green onions finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ cup pecans or walnuts chopped (optional, for coating)
  • Crackers fresh veggies, or sliced bread for serving

Instructions
 

Prepare Ingredients:

  • Start by grating the sharp cheddar cheese and finely chopping the green onions.
    If you're using nuts for coating, chop them into small pieces.

Mix the Cheese Ball Base:

  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and grated cheddar.
    Using a hand mixer or a wooden spoon, blend until smooth and creamy.

Add Seasonings:

  • Add Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper to the cheese mixture.
    Stir until everything is well incorporated.

Shape the Cheese Ball:

  • Once mixed, use your hands to form the cheese mixture into a ball shape.
    If the mixture is too soft to handle, refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm it up before shaping.

Coat with Nuts:

  • Roll the cheese ball in the chopped pecans or walnuts, pressing gently so they stick to the surface.
    Ensure the entire cheese ball is coated evenly.

Chill and Serve:

  • Cover the cheese ball with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld and the cheese ball to firm up.
